In Mexico the labor sector is increasingly competitive, this means that employment opportunities are becoming scarce and for this reason it is essential that people prepare more and more, this way they will get many better opportunities. One sector that is very important to develop in the country is the health sector, because this is of great help to many people, so if you have a certain inclination towards the health sector and you would like to work in Mexico in order to have better opportunities individually and help the growth of the country, it is important to know how much a professional dedicated to this area earns on average in the country.

We’ll start by talking about doctors. Being a doctor is a fairly complicated profession, this does not mean that it is not a good profession, but rather that it needs a lot of preparation, this career usually lasts twice as long as any other career, including engineering, is one of the longest careers that exist, and it is precisely for this reason why it is better paid than many others. On average, a doctor in Mexico earns approximately 12,149 pesos a month, which places them very close to the top of the 10 best paid races in the country.  According to data from the Labor Observatory, there are approximately 283,631 people working in the medical sector and among the best paid places in Mexico are Baja California Sur, Coahuila, San Luis Potosi, Yucatan, Aguascalientes.

On the other hand, one of the most famous jobs in this sector is dentists, for the same reason there is much demand and supply, in fact in Mexico this profession has the 23rd place with the largest number of people who decide to devote themselves to this profession, according to data from the Mexican Institute of Competitiveness. According to data from the Mexican Dental Association in Mexico are active approximately 70,000 registered dentists. One of the places where there are better profits is in Baja California, in fact a Tijuana dentist earns very well because most of his patients come from the United States, which means that they charge in dollars and as the price of the dollar is quite high, their earnings are much better than a dentist for example in the center of the country.

Another profession in this sector is nursing. The salary of this profession varies depending on the place where you work. For example, a nurse who works in the IMSS earns approximately 8,679 pesos per month, one who works in the ISSSTE earns an average of 8,333 pesos per month, in a private hospital they earn between 6,000 and 18,000 pesos per month, while a private individual who works on her own can earn between 100 and 1000 pesos per hour.

This is what an average person could earn if they decide to dedicate themselves to the health sector, however it is very important to take into account that this is not a profession to which one should dedicate oneself for money, but rather it is necessary to have passion and commitment, because here we work with something much more important than anything else, which is the health of people, so anyone who decides to dedicate themselves to this sector should bear in mind that they are acquiring a very great commitment and that they should decide practically their entire life to this.
